Beginning October 2008, the four group's companies product and service portfolios have been rationalized and re-organized in 5 business area that we started to market internationally under the new "MERMEC Group" umbrella brand.
This launch was the first step of our strategic plan designed to repositioning our offering worldwide and to officially reveils the guideline of the new brand strategy "Create a single-minded, strong brand presence, while maintaining the local brand value where we believe it is of high value".
This strategy required two actions:
The final result reflects the importance of the new group and unity that has been realized. Since all the companies bring important heritages to the Group, they have maintained their individual legal standing while they are active in promoting and distributing the new product & service portfolio.
