Architecture

RAMSYS is a software platform to support decisions in different contexts ranging from diagnostic to maintenance engineering, from data collection to data analysis, from planning to control, etc.

For this the platform has been designed as to be divided into a set of functional units (named modules) that can be composed into a larger (growing) application, depicting an implementation landscape that can grow and accommodate in flexible (modular) yet complete manner the Customer current and future needs.

RAMSYS is developed on the Composite Application approach in which a number of discrete, loosely coupled, semi-independent components can then be easily integrated together into an application “shell” to form a coherent solution.

RAMSYS is a three-tier application build on Microsoft .NET Platform. A Smart Client, a Windows Forms application, an Application Server hosted by Windows Service, a Data Store composed of a Microsoft SQL Server, a Measurement Storage server and Attachment Storage server are part of the system.

The Three-Tier architecture and built-in support for Web services simplify connecting to other applications, significantly reducing integration efforts and costs.

If required some RAMSYS modules can also be deployed as Standalone application as well as different Database Management Systems (e.g. Oracle).
