V•CUBE has been engineered to integrate the TSIS (Track Surface Inspection System), TSMS (Track Surface Measurement System) and THIS (Track Head-Check Inspection System) into one small, easy to mount platform which enhances defect detection, facilitate maintenance and reduce set-up time.
The abovementioned systems can be used independently of one another, but when combined together, following the MERMEC Group Holistic Approach, these track vision systems together create a powerful diagnostic bundle enhancing defect detection and localization abilities helping maintenance people detect problems that other inspection systems may miss. By using ther three measuring systems together, your maintenance engineers will be able to:
- eliminate false crack defects due to excess ballast covering the sleeper surfaces (TSMS disable search for cracks by TSIS in such a situation)
- disable fastening check in particular situations such as level crossing, check rail, switches.
