Mr. Kevin D. Oliver, PMP is the Vice President Automated Track Inspection Program - ATIP. In this critical executive role Mr. Oliver is responsible to define and execute MERMEC Inc. strategic program and business initiatives applied to this very important safety program carried out under the direction of the Federal railroad Administration (FRA).
Since December 2020 Mr. Oliver was responsible for the strategic direction of the diagnostic technologies applied to the Steel Sector a fast-growing market in the company’s portfolio.
Mr. Oliver came to MERMEC following an accomplished career serving for 12 years in the US Army as a UH60 Pilot in Command and earlier as a Maintenance Supervisor. During his military’s service Mr. Oliver was deployed in mission critical operations in various theaters. During his military service he was the recipient of numerous recognitions and commendations to include the Presidential Unit Citation. The Iraq Campaign Medal, and the Army Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Mr. Oliver was honorably discharged from the US Army. Following his honorable discharge from the US Army, Mr. Oliver served a Project Manager and Director of Training with Insitu Inc., a technology company serving the US Department of Defense.
Mr. Oliver hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the Columbia College, SC; and a Master of Business Administration – Project Management from Purdue University.
Mr. Oliver is a certified PMP from the Project Management Institute. Mr. Oliver lives in Columbia, SC with his wife Stephanie and three children Meagan, Malakai, and Nathaniel.
