Our dedicated team works closely with our customers to identify and introduce new equipment and provide off-the-shelf or custom-built solutions, which enable safer and more productive track inspection as contracted service. We provide a centralized control centre unit, which can effectively analyse real-time data from live systems and provide our customers with activity reports on request. An experienced team, fully trained in on-track safety, operates each testing vehicle.
We offer continuous track measuring services, primarily using our growing fleet of hi-rail vehicles equipped with cutting-edge inspection and measurement technologies. Our measuring vehicles collects data at speeds of up to 50 mph or 80 km/h. Measurement data is then uploaded to a central analysis unit where the data is reviewed, analysed and validated to determine the locations requiring interventions and/or the M&R optimized planning of activities.
Custom-built measuring vehicles are MERMEC optimal solutions to those customers are looking for turnkey multi-year term inspection programs. These are highly customized solutions specifically designed to fit our most demanding customers’ needs that cannot be satisfied with off-the-shelf rail bound or hi-rail solution. We are able to provide custom track recording car equipped with flexible bundles of inspection and measuring systems, all run by MERMEC experienced operators. As with all of our other solutions, all inspection results are recorded, captured, analysed, validated and correlated electronically by our team of fully-qualified and certified testing operators.
