Marseille, France - Inno-Tech, the MERMEC Group's French subsidiary, has changed its company name to "MERMEC France".
The company will maintain its former mission inside the group acting as a key presence in the French market by promoting the MERMEC Group's product & service portfolio nationally and delivering professional services to current customer base.
Sebastien Carrè will continue to lead MERMEC France as Managing Director and will report directly to Silvano Brandi, the MERMEC Group Chief Executive Officer.
MERMEC France, based in Marseille, in the South of France, was constituted as Inno-Tech in February 2007 and passed under MERMEC’s control in August 2007. The company has French share-holder participation, helping it to focus on the French market, driving the development plan for the subsidiary in tight connection with the French customer’s view of innovation. This announcement is part of the strategic plan of the MERMEC Group that aims to broaden its product offering into specific strategic markets worldwide by offering superior customer experiences and state-of-the-art technologies.
The MERMEC Group, from 2003 to present, has developed and supplied several diagnostic and measuring systems to light, conventional and high speed railways in France, contributing actively to the development and deployment of the latest generation of safety solutions currently in operation on the French railways (i.e IRIS 320, the SNCF's High Speed Measuring Train). The international vocation of the group, combined with the presence in loco of the subsidiary and the experience in all railways fields represents an important added value for a country such as France that invests deeply and constantly in infrastructure safety and advancement.
