MERMEC S.p.A. announced its board of directors has recently elected Andrea Certo, age 46, chief executive officer of the MERMEC Group, effective June 28, 2013.
Andrea Certo which holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan, has a strong international experience. He held senior international positions in various industries working for PM Group's subsidiary Oil & Steel S.p.A., United Technologies Carrier, Sant'Andrea Novara S.p.A. and Trasfor SA.
As MERMEC Group CEO, Andrea Certo will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the Group's short and long term strategy, reinforcing MERMEC's brand and strengthening the company's presence worldwide.
La MERMEC ha annunciato che, durante il consiglio di amministrazione del 28 giugno 2013, ha nominato Andrea Certo, 46 anni, amministratore delegato del gruppo MERMEC.
Laureato in Ingegneria Gestionale presso il Politecnico di Milano, Andrea Certo vanta una vasta esperienza internazionale. Nel corso della sua carriera ha ricoperto diverse posizioni di alto profilo in varie aziende internazionali tra le quali Oil & Steel PM Group SpA, United Technologies Carrier, Sant'Andrea Novara SpA e Trasfor SA.
In qualità di Amministratore Delegato del gruppo MERMEC, Andrea Certo avrà il compito di definire ed attuare i piani strategici di breve e lungo termine del Gruppo, rafforzandone la presenza ed il posizionamento internazionale.
